Coach parking arrangements

Please register your interest in coach parking for St Albans Christmas Market 2018, part of Meraki Christmas Festival via our online booking form.

St Albans at Christmas

There's plenty more to see besides the Christmas Festival.

Explore the most picturesque area of the city with a fascinating Historic St Albans - A City Revealed tour, taking in the medieval Clock Tower, Tudor buildings, and the ancient marketplace, before heading to the Christmas Market

Visit the stunning new St Albans Museum + Gallery, with a range of exhibitions including Game Plan on tour from the V&A in London.

You could also include a festive tour of the city’s iconic Cathedral, exploring this magnificent building at Christmas, revealing quirky and little known festive facts along the way. Pre-tour refreshments when you arrive in St Albans can be booked at the Abbot’s Kitchen, located at the Cathedral.

Points to note: The Christmas Festival is expected to be extremely busy at weekends, and so we advise you to bring groups on weekdays (Tue - Fri) for a more relaxed visit. The Charter Market, with up to 150 stalls, takes place each Wednesday and Saturday, and offers a vast range of non-Christmassy goods.
Key dates: Carols on the Hour takes place at St Albans Cathedral on 15th December 2018.

There are also other group tour options, if you would like to explore our ancient city and discover more about its history.

St Albans has a wide range of quality hotels and guest houses to suit every budget. You can find out more in our where to stay section.

We look forward to welcoming you to St Albans!
