St Albans Traditional Street Market

The market is steeped in History with a special Royal Charter granted in 1553. However, the market is well documented as far back as the 9th century. The current day market is firmly established in the city centre and runs the length of St Peters Street offering an excellent shopping experience to complement the established retail stores.

The St Albans Market is widely renowned as one of the best in the area, and the quality of products and produce available has won many awards.
