Visit this stunning Jacobean house within an extensive park and see the surviving wing of the Royal Palace of Hatfield, where Elizabeth I spent much of her childhood. The house is steeped in Elizabethan and Victorian political history and has a fine collection of pictures, tapestries, furnishings and historic armour. There are delightful formal gardens, woodland trails, picnic areas and a children's play park.

Hatfield House is proud to be one of the Treasure Houses of England, ten of the most magnificent palaces, houses and castles in England. Special events are held throughout the year.

Opening Dates Hatfield House, Park and Garden will reopen for 2016 on 26th March.
