Shaw's Corner

Shaw's Corner

The country home of George Bernard Shaw from 1906 until his death in 1950. The atmospheric rooms remain much as he left them, with many literary and personal effects providing a fascinating insight into his domestic life. At the bottom of the tranquil 3.5 acre garden, stands his revolving summer house / writing hut, where many of his famous plays were written, which could be turned to catch the sunlight.

The property holds events for visitors of all ages, so please do contact the property for an events leaflet.

Opening hours Reopening for 2016 on Friday 25th March until Sunday 30th October 2016. See the Shaw's Corner website for details.
