Heartwood Forest

Heartwood Forest

England’s largest new native forest, Heartwood Forest is a large-scale reforestation project that will see 600,000 new trees planted over 858 acres in the next 12 years. Within the forest are 45 acres of existing ancient woodland complete with bluebells in spring. There will also be a community orchard, new wildflower meadows, open spaces, and there is already a network of footpaths, cycle paths and bridleways which cross this area of beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.
